This is the last quarter of our award and we have not spent all of the award funds budgeted for Materials & Services and/or Travel. May we use these funds to pay additional Individual Financial Support to the project participants?
As a general rule, CRDF does not accept requests for reallocations submitted during the final 90 days of the project term. In addition, remaining funds from other budget categories (e.g. Materials & Services and Travel), which were not utilized during the award term are not available for automatic reallocation for IFS payments. Use of funds as “bonuses” or additional IFS payments in excess of allowable rates or reported level of effort are not permitted.
