Before any payment can be made under a CRDF project – whether under a CRDF award or GAP project – there must be a formal Project Agreement in place, signed by both CRDF and the awardee(s). For CRDF awards, the first IFS request may be submitted upon completion of the first project quarter unless otherwise specified in the Project Agreement. For GAP projects, the first IFS request should be submitted in accordance with the approved payment schedule and/or as specifically directed by the Sponsor Organization.
